Dear supporters
I wanted to write a brief message to say thank you to the countless people who have supported me and our campaign in Hammersmith over the past three years. I’ve been extremely fortunate to have been surrounded by such a talented and dedicated local team but I’ve also been humbled by the many people who travelled from other parts of London, and even other parts of the country, to serve our campaign.
It has been the dedication of our entire team, along with their passion for the change our country so desperately needs, which provided the inspiration that kept me going during the busy days of the campaign. I am also extremely grateful to my loving family for their endless support, even when I was out of the house at six in the morning and not back until midnight!
Over the past few days I have been sent countless emails of support and encouragement. With each email I have found myself feeling more and more thankful for everyone who has supported me. Even if we didn’t get the result we wanted this time, the volume of emails has shown that we have still been heard and we have still made a difference. I’m very proud of our team and it has been a privilege to work with you on this campaign.
Yours sincerely,
Shaun Bailey
